Living what seems to be a thousand lives in one, Mckenna takes her experiences from growing up all over the east coast and turns them into art of all different forms. Born in Falmouth, MA and spending her first years of childhood there, her father was writing and playing his own original music constantly which sparked her interest in songwriting at a young age. Having both parents as musicians, they played in a band that rehearsed in her basement every chance they got. She would always find herself jamming out, dancing, singing, or just listening to the band practice and quickly found her love of music.

 

     Soon after, she moved to Key West, FL and was thrown into the creative worlds of Duval Street, Bahama Village Music Program, the Just 4 Kids art program, Coffee-mill Dance Studio, and the unique learning styles of the Key West Montessori School. In awe of the creative world, she dove in head first at a young age and never looked back, making art in every way she could, every moment she could.

 

     Over a decade later, after years of moving around and finding inspiration in each of the places she wound up in, she’s back in Key West and is excited to see what the gigging world has to offer. With covers of classic rock tunes and originals mixed in, you’ll be sure to have a great time when Mckenna’s up on stage. You can find her original music on any streaming platform and she plans on putting an album out by the end of this year.
